oing to be a good one today. It's Aaron's birthday and the 3rd weekday of my staycation. Yesterday it POURED rain but we managed to run a few errands. Today, so far, we've baked a cake, Christopher is cleaning the bathrooms and then we're off to shop for a couple pair of jeans. School does start in less than a week. We need to wrap up the school clothes shopping.
Then... it's possibly back to work for me tomorrow. My mother, who is also our receptionist, works full time when I'm out. She's also battling cancer. So...her chemo has decided to do all sorts of whacky things and she ended up home today, in too much pain to work.
I hate cancer.

Hello..I have been away from reading blogs for a time now, but wow you have been busy. It is nice to just stay home sometimes. School started three weeks ago for us, and the clothes shopping is the worst part for me. The kids here wear uniforms so that does make it some what easier. Enjoy your time off. Have a great holiday, Missy

I hate cancer, too, my friend. Looks like you and I are dealing with so many of the same issues. Oh, how I wish we could visit! We could cry on each other's shoulders, laugh our tails off, and talk about tassels. Sigh....one of these days. : )
