My Most Official Hoops & Yo-Yo calendar states that tomorrow is Grouch Day. I'm not 100% sure how you celebrate that but I think... if you know a Grouch, do something out of the ordinary. Shock 'em. Make 'em smile. You know...something silly. A troll doll and chocolate. Ohhh... who can stay grouchy with free chocolate?
The possibilities are endless.... Celebrate tomorrow and make it your mission to change Grouch Day to "Make A Grouch Smile" Day....

Hi, Bonnie! I love your twist on Grouch Day. I have had the pleasure of tackling such a mission before. I don't know if you've ever read the Paddington Bear books, but if you have, you'll understand when I tell you that I lived next to Mr. Curry. About the grumpiest old coot you'd ever care to meet, and his wife was meaner. They used to get on my nerves a whole lot, to the point where I was just going to sell my house to get away from them. Then I decided to do random things to make them smile--it was really hard at first but it turned into a sort of game around my house. And you know what? Mr. and Mrs. Curry ended up being pretty great neighbors.
